Spring is here, temperatures are rising — and so are the ticks! 🌡️ Tyrol is a TBE risk area, which is why the tick vaccination (TBE vaccination) is equally important for adults and children.
💉 For children, the TBE vaccination is recommended from the age of 1. The primary immunisation consists of 3 doses: the second dose is given 1–3 months after the first, and the third 5–12 months after the second. The first booster is due after 3 years, then every 5 years.
💉 For adults, the schedule is the same: 3 doses — the second 1–3 months after the first, the third 5–12 months after the second. Boosters are then recommended every 5 years, or every 3 years from age 60. If you haven’t been vaccinated yet — now is the perfect time to start!
⚡ Need quick protection? There is also a rapid immunisation schedule with shorter intervals — after just 2 doses you can already be protected for the current tick season. Simply ask us about it, we’ll be happy to advise you!
✅ We have the TBE vaccine in stock! Simply book an appointment or drop by the practice. Please bring your vaccination record so we can check your vaccination status and advise you individually.
The Easter holidays are here – and the Easter Bunny even paid us a visit at the practice! 🐰 We were delighted and would like to say a warm thank you for the sweet surprise!

March was a wonderful month for our team — not just medically, but also personally! Alongside our daily practice routine, we treated ourselves to two special highlights as a team. 🎉
🎿❄️ We hit the slopes together on a beautiful sunny day — a perfect ski day with loads of fun, fresh mountain air, and the occasional pit stop at a cozy mountain hut. Naturally, we toasted with a cool drink afterwards! 🍹
🔍🕵️ And as if that wasn’t enough, we also tried our hand at detective work: at a murder mystery dinner, we puzzled, suspected, and of course enjoyed great food — an evening full of suspense and laughter!
Why are we sharing this? Because we’re convinced that a team that works well together and laughs together outside the practice can also take better care of you. 💪

We have an update on the shingles (herpes zoster) vaccine! According to the latest information from the Austrian Federal Vaccine Shop, the vaccine will be available for ordering again from summer 2026 at the earliest.
We know many of you have been waiting — thank you for your patience! As soon as we can secure doses, we will promptly inform all patients on our waiting list.

We are excited to introduce a new face at our practice: Dr. Michael Ertl is now part of our medical team!
Dr. Ertl is a general practitioner and will be available for you every Thursday and Friday. He completed his training at LKH Innsbruck and in general practice, bringing experience in acupuncture and emergency ultrasound, among other skills.
What does this mean for you? Our practice is now staffed with two physicians throughout the entire week! 🎉
